I meet Mom at the doctor's office today for Justin's nine month checkup. Justin weighed in at 20 lbs 4 oz and that puts him the the 50th percentile for weight. I would have thought that he weighed more than that as he is so rolly-poly; especially compared to Darren. I had shorts on all three boys one day last week when it was 80 out, and Darren has such tiny legs. The two younger boys can share the same pair of shorts. I got out Darren's shorts from last season (which were 3-6 month) and they still fit him great.
Justin was 29" long/tall and that placed him in the 75th percentile. I asked the doctor about his "outie" belly button, and he said that is a hernia, but he wants to just watch it for the time being. He can do everything that a child is supposed to do for his age, but he doesn't "talk." When I mentioned it to the doctor, he asked if he babbles. I said that he does, so the doctor says that there is nothing to worry about.
