27 week checkup

I just had my 27 week checkup today, and everything is progressing as normal. They checked my glucose level, my hemoglobin level and drew some blood. My sugar was 117 which they said was great and they claim that my hemoglobin level was also great, I was measuring on target and the baby's heart rate was 144. The doctor asked if I have been taking my vitamins regularly, and I had to admit that I have not. I will remember on my way home from work, but as soon as I walk in the door I am absorbed into what the boys are telling/showing me so I forget. It's a good thing that I don't have health issues as I would never remember to take my medicine.

I am now officially going to the doctor every two weeks. When I have to go that often, it means that reality is starting to set in and this baby could technically come any time. Based on my mother, and sisters history with pregnancies I don't see me going into labor a day before 40 weeks. I have had people say that being induced is more painful than going into labor naturally, but I don't think that it makes any difference. I was induced with Nathan, and went into labor naturally (if you can call it that) with Darren and I thought that they both sucked!

By going to the doctor every two weeks, that means that Bruce and I have to seriously sit down and decide where we are going to put the two boys now. We will have to make room in the house for all the stuff a newborn needs and bring boxes of stuff down from upstairs and get everything washed up in preparation of baby ??????'s arrival. I highly doubt that I get anything ready a day before 38 weeks, so that gives me another eleven weeks of procrastinating!
