I know, I know. I have been remiss in posting, but things have been so hectic. I'll try to summarize some things that have happened in the three weeks that I have not posted. Christmas went well and the boys got more stuff than they need. I had bought a Wii this past summer with the intentions of Santa Claus giving it to the boys, but Nathan found it late summer. Rather than take the chance that he will put two and two together, Bruce and I gave the boys the Wii for Christmas. Coincidently, it was the last gift they opened. The last Santa gift they opened were games for the Wii. Nathan opens up a hunting game; he sees the Wii logo and is confused. Darren opens Wii Sports and I know that Darren did not have a clue. Bruce and I are trying not to laugh at Nathan's confusion. Finally, when Justin is unwrapping the charging station for the remotes, does he catch on. He was so excited! He ripped the wrapping paper off the Wii with unbridled enthusiasm.
Nathan seems to be a gracious loser when it comes to games on the Wii. I beat Nathan in bowling (getting a lot higher score than I do when I really bowl), Darren kicked his butt in boxing. However, Nathan kicks both mine and Darren's butt in Mario-Kart. I haven't played on the Wii for more than an hour or two, but I can see why people have so much fun on it.
