Last night we were watching “The Biggest Loser” on TV. Nathan was sitting on my lap and in complete seriousness, Nathan said, “Dad. You and I should go on this show.” Bruce acted pretty offended so he asks Nathan, “What about Mom? Doesn’t she belong on that show?”
Nathan: No
Bruce: Are you sure? Don’t you think she needs to get rid of her belly? Her chest? Her butt?
Nathan: Nope
Bruce: Are you sure? Isn’t there something on Mom that can be smaller?
Nathan: No
(I am thinking that I have a kid that will defend me and doesn’t see my flaws)
Bruce: Come on Nathan be honest. Mom doesn’t need to lose any of her belly?
Nathan: Well, maybe a little bit.
I was glad that Nathan defended me for some time with all of Bruce’s pestering.

Your boy is a sweetie. Today he was on milk duty and was bringing back their bucket of empty milk cartons. He said, "I'll just put this over here since I can see you've already cleaned your counter. I don't want you to have to clean it again." :)
