My boys love country music. They will frequently get a song in their head and sing it all around the house. In fact, Darren has been singing, “Shake it for me” by Luke Bryan a lot lately and who can blame him as it is a catchy song.
Anyway, we were on our way out to Patty and Tony’s house Friday night when Nathan asked if he had the CD of “International Harvester” by Craig Morgan in the CD player. Bruce told the boys no, but he did have the Beastie Boys “Brass Monkey” (which is a heavy metal/rap group) in if they wanted to hear that. With a resounding “yes” Bruce turns the CD on and cranks it up loud. I look back and about split my sides from laughing to see all three boys head banging the best they can in their car seats and seat belts. Nathan is acting like a DJ “spinning” records. Darren and Justin are fist pumping. It makes me chuckle just thinking about it now.
