Lately Justin (who will be two in about 2 1/2 weeks) has been saying potty. I mostly ignored him as I just figured it was a word that was fun to say. And every time I sit him on the toilet, he would just sit there with no results. Finally on Sunday I got tired of hearing him say it so I sat him on the toilet. He actually peed! Hip-hip-hooray! I rewarded him with candy. About a dozen times that day he said he had to go potty and I set him on the toilet every time. He only went pee on more time after the first time however.
Last night when he said that he had to go, "potty" I put him on the toilet again. He peed! The only problem is that he does not like to push his business down, so he pees on the small toilet seat and the big toilet seat. When he said potty later that night, I grabbed Bruce's step stool and let him stand on it so that he could try peeing standing up. He went again and only got his socks a little wet;-)
I am waiting for the bomb to drop as this seems entirely to easy. When I was recapping Justin's accomplishments to Mom last night, she asked if I had underwear for him. I told her that I am just putting Darren's on Justin for the time being since they are the same size. They weigh the same and can wear the same size clothes - Darren is just a few inches taller.
