For a while now, Darren has been able to recite the correct way to spell his name. A lot of times he recognizes his name also. To keep him sharp, I will ask him at random times to spell his name. When I asked him yesterday at Mom's, I was in for a shock. We were at Mom's for my niece's 1st birthday party. In front of his grandma, aunt, uncles and cousins I ask Darren how to spell his name.
"A-S-S" was the reply I got. I know that I got wide-eyed and asked him how to spell his name again. I got the same response. Of course everyone is laughing at this point. I asked him who told him how to spell that word. "AJ from daycare." Of course, when in trouble always blame the kid that isn't around. I told him that was a bad word and if he did it again he was going to get some soap to wash out that dirty mouth. What a corker!
