Revisiting an old habit

I may, or may not have posted this a long time ago. When Darren was a baby, you knew that he was trying to soothe himself to sleep when you heard him humming or singing to himself.

Coming home from vacation Saturday (more on that later) I hear Darren singing. It is mildly annoying but I let it go because I figure that at least he isn't fighting with his brothers. Eventually he goes quiet. I did not think anything about it until about an hour later Nathan announces, "Darren is awake." Then it hit me like a lightening bolt. He sung himself to sleep! It had been so long since Darren sung himself to sleep that I had forgotten all about that habit of his.
