Tawawa Park

Shame on me. I am a native of Shelby county, I have worked in Sidney for approximately 15 years and I currently work about a half mile from Tawawa Park and made my first real visit to the park today. Boy, was I impressed! You can see the pool from the road, and I have pulled back into the mouth of the park, but I did not realize that there are many sub-parks once you drive in further. I have been trying to walk during part of my lunch, so today I decided to head to Tawawa. There are lots of trails, shelters and playgrounds. I will have to bring the boys sometime so that we can go "hiking" since they are always asking to hike.

As I am sitting in the parking lot at the park changing into my tennis shoes, I see a friend of mine from high school, Patti (who also lives in Loramie) pull in and park two spots down from me. What are the odds that she would pick that location at the exact time that I was there? We spent a few minutes talking all the while I was amazed by the coincidence that we were there at the same time.
