When all my boys were babies, we give them Eskimo kisses a lot. If you are not aware, an Eskimo kiss is where your nose touches their nose and you kind of rub them together. This past weekend when Justin didn't have a snot dripping, I would give him Eskimo kisses. You could tell by how puffy his eyes were that he didn't feel well, so he wanted held all weekend. Sunday evening, he was on my lap and was in a decent mood. I stood him up facing me and he leans in until his nose touched my nose. I could feel him looking at me and trying to say, "Rub your nose Mom, I can't do everything for you."
I was so happy that he was showing affection. He has done it before but I always thought that it was a random thing. He continuously kept bringing his nose to mine; even when he was dripping snot. Remembering that helps get me thru the times like last night when he was up twice.
