I have posted in the past about how Darren and my niece Jenna (Carla's oldest) are best friends and are five months apart. I think we have another set of best friends between our two families.
Last Sunday we were at Mom's to celebrate her birthday. Bruce was holding my niece Lydia and Justin comes up and starts grunting so Bruce lowers Lydia so that Justin and Lydia are face-to-face. Lydia is 7 months old and Justin is a year and a half. Lydia kept grabbing Justin's face and trying to give him kisses and they kept hugging. They were smiling and laughing at each other. Surprisingly, Justin wasn't trying to touch Lydia other than to hug her and that is surprising because he is always touching faces. I guess he instinctively her knew that he had to be gentle with her. He has always been affectionate with her, and it just keeps continuing.
