King Day

Every now and then, the boys get a desire to talk on the phone. When this happens, I let them call either set of Grandparents and talk to them. Last night Darren wanted to talk and he wanted to talk to Grandma Deb. So I call Grandma and hand the phone to Darren. He talks and when he is finished, I talk to her for a while. Nathan then decides he wants to talk, so when I am finished, I hand the phone to Nathan. Grandma must have asked him if he learned anything in preschool that day and he told her, "I didn't have preschool today because it was King Day."

That gave me a good chuckle, because he obviously misunderstood what day it was. I wonder what he thought King Day meant....
