The other night, both boys fell asleep in the living room. Since Darren fell asleep on Bruce's lap, he carried Darren to bed and I carried Nathan. (I got the raw end of the deal because Nathan is 60 pounds plus and he is enough to break your back) I lay Nathan down first and cover him up. Bruce lays Darren down and covers him up. As we are getting ready to walk out of the room, we see Darren lift his head up and turn so he can see Nathan. After he spies Nathan, he turns back around and lays his head back down.
Apparently he just needed to reassure himself that his brother was there. I don't know if he expects Nathan to protect him or if he is protecting Nathan, but it was pretty cute!
