Out like a light

Last night was Bruce's birthday, so he asked his Mom if she would come over and watch the boys for a few hours so that we could go out for a while. We got home about 9:00 pm and Justin was wide awake, laughing and smiling at Grandma Joan. She told me that Justin had chugged about 4 ounces down, but I forgot to ask what time that was. Since he chugged that down, Bruce and I decided to feed him a little bit more to make sure that he wouldn't wake up that night.

After Joan leaves, I lay him down on the floor in the living room and go into the kitchen to make a bottle. I was probably only gone a minute, two tops, and when I walked back into the living room he was sleeping. I had debated waking him up to feed him, but I figured that I would rather him be awake longer then instead of getting up in the middle of the night.

He did chug down the 4 ounces I made him and acted like he wanted more, so I made 2 more ounces for him. After that was done, you could tell his belly was full. I burped him and he fell asleep while I was burping him. Apparently Grandma Joan (that's what the boys call her) wore Justin out with all the tickling and attention.
