Here are some random thoughts and memories about Justin:
Bruce thinks that his nickname should be Squirrel, but I don't think it works with Monkey and Skeeter. Maybe it will grow on me.
Although Justin was never up a lot at night time, he still got up once in the middle of the night to eat. When I was complaining to someone that he was four weeks old and still got up in the middle of the night they thought I was crazy. I was expecting a lot from him as the other two boys slept thru the night at two and three weeks. I decided to let him sleep on his belly for a night to see how he did, and he did great. He has been sleeping on his belly since. I would feed him about 9:30 and he would go to bed about 10:00 and then get up anywhere from 5:00-8:00. I thought that I could handle that when I go back to work. So far though, I have had to wake him up the past two mornings to get ready for daycare. Yeah!!
He is also starting to smile more frequently. When he smiles at me, it just about makes my heart melt.
So far, he has been a really good baby. A guy I work with also has three boys and he claims that the third one basically raises himself. I know that Justin is still too young, but he has been very easy going. Darren has stepped on him on more than one occasion and he has barely cried. He gets put in awkward positions when his brother holds him or when the neighbor girls hold him.
When I was in the hospital and had him, I did cry a little. Knowing that he was my last child, and that I would not have any more made me a little emotional. I never got that emotional with the other two other than being very happy/excited that they finally arrived and were healthy.
I think that Justin is going to be a mini-Nathan. Justin looks identical to Nathan's baby pictures, and he is built more like Nathan. He also has that same "bump" in the middle of his forehead. It's like in the middle/center of the forehead two bones meet and don't quite meet and lay even. When Nathan gets hot, it looks like he has a small goose-egg in the middle of his forehead.
