Fall allergies

Poor Darren. I have Justin's two-month checkup on Wednesday and I am going to have to ask the doctor about Darren's allergies. His allergies seem to get worse in the fall.

Every night he has a runny nose, sneezes and has red eyes. The past few nights have been extremely bad. After dinner, his eyes are so red and there is so much matter forming in the corner of his eyes that you think he has pinkeye. You have to wipe the "eye burgers" every ten minutes or so, and they continue to mat. He says his eyes hurt and he is always rubbing them. He gets up the next morning and his eyes are fine and no more matter has accumulated.

I am sure having our windows open does not help his allergies. We will probably close them again for the next few days since it is supposed to be muggy, and we will see if that helps. We may just have to keep the air conditioner on in the fall despite the fact that it is cooler outside than it is in the house. Although Darren never complains.
