Because it has been so stinking hot, we have been using the crock pot to do a lot of our cooking this past week. One of the crock pot meals was a roast. As we were sitting down to eat, one of the boys asked what we were having. I told them roast beef like (and I recited the rhyme that coincides with each toe)
This little piggy went to the market.
This little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy has roast beef.
This little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy went we-we-we the whole way home.
The next thing I knew Justin has his shoes and socks off, propped his foot up on the table and said, "do the piggies." I must have looked at him blankly and he said, "that goes market." I finally caught on and had to do the rhyme to each of his toes on both feet. Then Darren takes off his shoes and socks and I had to do both of his feet. Of course Nathan wasn't about to be left out, so I had to do it to his toes too. Although his feet stunk and aren't nearly as cute as his youngest brother.
