Yesterday later afternoon Mom came over to drop Nathan off after spending the weekend at their house. We got talking and Mom reminded them that school would be starting soon. Justin chimes in that he is going to sit with Nathan on the bus when he goes to school. Nathan goes' "No way. I'll be in, like high school!" Mom and I laughed and said that he will not be in high school when Justin goes to school. Mom explained to Nathan if he is going into second grade now, and Justin has three more years to go until he starts school, what is three plus two.
Nathan is puzzled and thinking about it (I know he was tired, so I hope that it why it was taking him so long to answer) and Darren speaks up. "I know. That is easy. He will be in 5th grade!" He is so ready for school. I just hope he is mature enough and can sit still long enough as we all know that is a problem for Darren. Darren did offer to let Justin sit with him on the bus when Justin goes to school.
