Justin's 2nd birthday

My little boy turned "2" on Saturday. It is a bittersweet time as he is my little one so he has to slow down on growing up so fast, but at other times I can't wait until he gets a little older and I can take him places easier.

For instance two weekends ago, one of our friends had a family pool party/campout at his house. Knowing that there was at least 8 couples there with their kids and that there was probably 10 kids under the age of 10, I decided that I could not trust Justin. He has no fear so he definately jump in and with so many kids running around, I was afraid that he would "get lost." He stayed home with my cousing Dylan. This past weekend, another friend had a campout at their house. I was going to take Justin out Friday night and let Patty watch him Saturday, but he was tired and cranky when I got home from work Friday night, so I asked Patty if she wanted him on Friday night already. Of course, she quickly agreed. It is not fair that my older two miss out on things because Justin is at a bad age, nor is it fair that Justin misses out on swimming and camping out because he is at a young age. What a catch 22!
