Itch

Tuesday evening while I was cooking dinner, I look over and see Nathan scratching his genitals on the outside of his shorts. I told him to quit scratching as that wasn't polite to scratch that area. I also told him that when he took a shower tonight, to make sure he washed that area with lots of soap. He looks at me with exaggerated patience and goes,
"All boys itch there Mom."
Me: "How do you know that all boys itch there?"
Nathan: "I just do."

Apparently it is just a fact of life and I just have to accept it!
