"Cursory flush"

Although we have two bathrooms in our house, we only really use one. Our master bath is where the kids take their baths and the front bathroom sits empty. That being said, there is a lot of traffic in and out of that bathroom. The other day Nathan was pooping while Bruce was shaving. Bruce told Nathan to do a courtesy flush because he was stinking up the bathroom. Of course Nathan asks what a courtesy flush is and we had to explain what it meant. So now, because I can't go to the bathroom in privacy, Nathan will remind me to do a "cursory" flush.

Last night I had Darren in the tub and Nathan said he had to poop. I walked into the kitchen to straighten up a bit, and when I walked back in, Nathan had my eyes watering. I asked him if he had done a courtesy flush, and he grunted out that he had two times already! He has also clogged the toilet on an occasion or two. What a rotten boy! Hopefully he can float better now at swim lessons on Saturday.
