5th birthday party

Last Friday night we had Nathan's 5th birthday party. We kept it very simple and ordered pizza and then had cake and ice cream. We celebrated outside since the house was so hot and it felt pretty good outside. The kids rode bikes, played in the sandbox and played on the swing set. Darren had a tendency to wander off, and he could always be found at the front of the house; usually on the porch. (I don't think that he felt the best this entire Memorial Day weekend.) The only drawback were all the mosquitoes. Nathan got some K-Nex from Brian and his family, some movies and books from Susan and her family, money from Grandpa & Grandma Kunk and an outfit with money deposited into his savings from Grandma & Grandpa Ernst. (Mee-maw and Pee-paw according to Darren.)
