I have wanted a Dyson vacuum for a really long time, but the price tag has always kind of scared me off. I know that the Friday after Thanksgiving they run great sales on them, but I hate the frantic scrambling you have to do to get any deals. Recently I was in Target and they had the Dyson sweeper on clearance for $279. That is the Black Friday price! I am guessing that it was on clearance because they are trying to get more people to purchase the Dyson ball vacuum. Needless to say I picked one up.

I love it! It really is a superior vacuum to the one I had. I had a full canister of filth when I was done vacuuming the entire house. It would take my old vacuum several sweepings to accumulate that much dust and dirt. I will be glad to let you "test drive" it at your house before you make the big ticket purchase if you have been thinking about getting one but were hesitant because of the price. Overall, I feel it is money well spent.
