Saturday night we were at the neighbors for a campfire and because the next day was a big day, we were home by 10:00 pm. We get the kids to bed, and go to bed ourselves. About 3:30 am I wake up and realize that I did not play Easter Bunny last night. I knew that the boys would be up before I was in the morning so there was no chance that I could set it out before they woke up. I am scrambling around in my closet trying to find a pair of sandals or something so that I can go out to the garage and in my van to get the ‘supplies.’
I realize that their Easter baskets are upstairs and every noise I am making seems magnified about 10,000 times, so I was reluctant to go upstairs and get out their baskets. Because the Easter Bunny just got a single movie for all three boys, and some candy, I decided to just dump everything in front of the fireplace. Whew! Crisis barely averted.
