I am not sure if it is because Nathan is a boy, if it is because he dislikes school, or if he tries not to think about school once he is done for the day, but I can never get much more than one word answers from him. For example, "What did you learn in school today?" "Nothing" is his answer. "What did you play in gym class" usually is a better question as that is his favorite subject and I get more than a one word answer. "We played ball tag."
So imagine my surprise the other day when he came home from school and I asked him how school was. "Guess what happened today in school? Kiki (I don't remember the name) threw up in school. In the classroom by her desk! It smelled and was really gross." Apparently someone getting sick in school is how I will get the all the details on how school was!

Well, that is a bit more exciting than say, math. :) I can't get details too often from my kids, but on Thursday, Drew told me that he played basketball in gym.
